Wow! Our life has been crazy busy lately… and our little one isn’t even here yet. These past couple of weeks we have found ourselves over committed and under productive. Basically, we have ended up with some sort of class (pregnancy), Bible study, or church about four out of five nights a week. It starts to wear a person down quickly. Our chores haven’t had any sympathy for us either (we can’t convince the cat and dog to do them while we are at work).
Hopefully, this chaos will change soon… for a little while. We only have five weeks left until our due date! So Michael Luke and I better make the most of our time.
I did manage to find a little time to work on the inside drawers of the changing table. Not that it is a pressing matter to take care of before the little one arrives, but it is on my list of things to do.
(You can read more on the changing table here.)
Here is what the inside of the drawers looked like before I started working on them.
Looks like I captured part of my green sock too.
And here is what it is looking like with a little Mod Podge and tissue paper.
I really love the pop of color and texture it adds. I’ll explain the process of how I did it in another post. Let’s just say it might have taken a little longer than I originally anticipated (twice as long).
Anyway, thankfully we are less than 24 hours away from the weekend and maybe some rest. Is anybody else in need of some extra rest? Or a robot named Rosie to do all your chores?
Oh, and that in the top left hand corner may or may not be my bag packed and ready to go to the hospital.
