Family Friday: First Set of Wheels

This past weekend my parents came to visit. We dropped in on one of our local toy stores while making a Starbucks stop. It was fun looking at all the toys but the one that caught Noah’s attention was this adorable little ladybug!

Prince Lionheart Wheely Bug, Ladybug, Small

We set her on it and it was love at first antenna grab. Forget the handlebars, she wanted to hold on to the antennas. Her little feet were too small to really touch the ground good but she had so much fun as we pushed her around the store. My parents ended up getting it for her and and scored an awesome deal on it because all they had left was the floor model.

ML had to carry Noah out of the store attached to the bug. She was still sitting on it and would not let go of the antennas!

With a little practice and several laps around the house she has learned to hold onto the handlebars.  She loves us pushing her all over the place and when we stop she leans back and forth hoping the little “bug” will move.  I am sure she will enjoy this for a long time… especially once she is able to push it herself.

There are some really great grins going on around the twenty-eight second mark!

So that’s what new in our house this week.  I hope you have a great weekend and I’ll be back next week to share some new projects I have been working on.

That is precious! I’m impressed that she hangs on so well, she was really cruisin! I’m definitely going to look for a ride-on toy this consignment season!

I was surprised at how well she hangs on too. We have only fallen over a couple of times. I try to keep my hands pretty close in case she starts to fall.

Sounds like a good thing to ask for. Since Noah’s was the floor model it is over seven years old and still in great shape. Apparently they can withstand some abuse!
