Tag Alongs and Quick Snaps

This past weekend Noah and I had the opportunity to tag along with Michael Luke to a physical therapy conference… at the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort, in Point Clear, AL.  It was so much fun and Noah had a blast playing in the splash pool, chillin in the bay, and digging in the sand.

Thankfully, before we left I got the house all cleaned up so yesterday morning I snapped a few quick pictures of Noah’s room before  as she began her daily ritual of taking all her toys out of the storage boxes..

The room is still a work in progress, artwork needs to be rearranged and rehung and additional accessories still need to be added, and the accent wall needs to be repainted.  Despite all that the pictures at least give you an idea of the new furniture arrangement now that her “big girl” bed is in the room.

What did y’all do this past weekend?  Did anybody else sneak away for a quick weekend getaway?

P.S. If you need a refresher here is what the room looked like pre-daybed.

She’s so big! I can’t believe she will be in a big girl bed so soon! My little one will stay in a crib forever (or so I hope)! This also reminds me that the babies are over the “eating sand” age and I should really do a beach trip:)

It never even crossed my mind that she might try to eat the sand. I’m glad that didn’t happen! If we weren’t adopting so soon I would probably keep Noah in her crib a little longer.

What a great trip to get to tag-along on! Looks like fun =)
Noah’s nursery/big girl room is just so cute. I love all the colors and your special touches. It is perfect for your new little one too!

Thanks, Kelly! Hopefully, we can get all the artwork rearranged soon and I have some ideas for making some custom artwork for our new little girl to hang above the crib. It will happen in time though.

Her room is looking so very cute–and very much like a “big girl” room. How did she become a big girl?? Wasn’t I just the other day seeing photos of her as a little tiny baby? Time flies, doesn’t it?

Oh, yes! It is moving so quickly. It makes me side when I look at her and realize she isn’t a baby anymore. 🙁
