It’s amazing how a week off can really motivate you. Even a week off from full time motherhood. Last week, I took a little trip all by myself (9000 other people) to Salt Lake City for the Young Living 20th Anniversary Convention. I learned so much but also had the opportunity to meet some wonderful friends.
Visit this cool historic hotel lobby… where this nice gentleman was playing the baby grand.
I found a pretty sweet view of the Mormon Temple… even if it was raining. It took 40 years to build it back in the 1800’s!!!
This little “gem” was right beside my hotel. I can’t imagine the number of people that have traveled through this historic train station. I relished this view every morning. It was amazing to read through Psalms and then look out and literally see the work of God. To know that he crafted and placed every mountain and valley.
Now I’m back to “real life”. The life where I’m the one that cooks, cleans, and picks up everyone. I’m not complaining though. If anything I’m motivated. Rejuvenated! This morning I’ve been organizing the upstairs bathroom. And that’s saying something because I’m really more of the type that just shoves it in a drawer or cabinet and secretly hopes that one day it bother ML enough that he will want to organize. I’m washing clothes. Purging junk. And scheming up new project ideas. It’s amazing!
I’m not sure how long this energy will last but I better capitalize on it. Fast!!!
