I had fun the other day putting together these adorable little embellished Valentine gift tags.
I couldn’t resist the heart washi tape, stickers, and cute gift tags one day while at the craft store. A few of them just had to come home with me so I could have a little fun.
Then I went to Target and found some stickers in the Dollar Spot that I knew would pair perfectly with the gift tags.
So one day while the girls were working on a craft project of their own I joined them at the table and withing a few minutes I had created this set of fun Valentine gift tags.
I don’t know about you but that’s my kind of time frame for a project. That’s all I’ve got around here! Wouldn’t they look adorable tied to a bouquet of roses for a significant other, around a stuffed animal for your special someone, or as the final touch for a candy bag?
These are simple to recreate with fun stickers and your own gift tags or you can purchase this set for yourself using the PayPal link below.
Ladies, V-day is just around the corner and as much as we love the romance, chocolate, and flowers of this holiday, it’s also important that we don’t forget about our husbands. They like to feel loved too!
But if you are like me you may sometimes find it hard to shop for your man. I mean take Michael Luke for instance… he wears scrubs everyday to work, barely has time to read, and doesn’t have time to do much else besides spending time with the girls and me. What do you get a guy like that? It’s hard. I understand. That’s why I am here to offer my top three Valentine gifts for men.
FitBit
The FitBit is a great gift for men because it takes a simple thing like counting your steps and turns it into a competition with all your friends who also have a FitBit.
There are several models available but one of the latest is the Fitbit Charge HR. It’s worn as a wristband and monitors your daily steps, stairs climbed, heart rate, active minutes, sleep, and even works as a caller id and watch. It syncs wirelessly to your phone or desktop and makes improving your health fun.
Shutran
Shutran is an empowering essential oil blend that is specially designed for men to boost feelings of masculinity and confidence. Its inspiring aroma appeals to both men and women, and although used like a cologne, Shutran does not contain any synthetic ingredients. Instead, it is formulated with pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils, including the exclusive-to-Young-Living Idaho Blue Spruce, a refreshing, invigorating essential oil to both body and mind.
I gave Shutran to Michael Luke for Christmas and I absolutely love the way it smells on him! He’s a fan of it too. If your husband is iffy about essential oils this may be the perfect way to introduce them to him. Shutran simply replaces the chemical overloaded colognes that are on the market today. It is so important to be aware of what we put on our bodies and breathe everyday.

Audible
Michael Luke has been wanting an Audible membership for a while. What is it? It’s a monthly membership program that lets you listen to one audio book a month and then access other audio books at a 30% discount. He has a twenty to thirty minute commute to work each day… around an hour total and is a really slow reader. Audible is appealing to him because he can tackle his long list of books he would love to read without having to carve out impossible to find free time in his day.
Your man may find himself in the same place as ML and look forward to “reading” a little on the way to and from work each day. Plus, that still leaves plenty of time for him to help you with chores around the house.
So there you have it! My list of the top three gifts to give that special man in your life for Valentine’s Day this year. I’ll be back later this week with an update on our moving and more details on our future.
Until then, I want to know what was the best Valentin’es gift you ever received? One year Michael Luke cooked an entire meal from scratch… this particular meal included mushrooms and it just happened to be the night that Michael Luke discovered that he loved mushrooms. A love for mushrooms was pretty much a prerequisite for marriage… so thankfully this story has a happy ending. 🙂

Even though we hope to be traveling on Valentine’s Day I have still been busy pinning Valentine crafts for Noah. There are so many cute ideas out there and I just can’t help but share a few of them with you. Unfortunately this was pinned only as an image. If you know who it belongs to I would love to give them credit.
I think this one could easily be done with empty toilet paper rolls. They are so cute and would be perfect for stuffing candy inside. This one was also only an image. If you know who it belongs to I would love to give them credit.
Noah absolutely loves painting and would love to get fingers (and toes) wet with this project. This would be cute on a shirt or a canvas to save and display for years to come. (source)
I just love these little guys and can’t wait for to make some. They just might become the newest inhabitants of her dollhouse. You could also easily tweak this to make all sorts of animals. (source)
Another great piece to save and display every year. Or your little on could make this to give to daddy for Valentine’s Day. Another image. If you know who it belongs to I would love to give them credit.
Noah and I did this yesterday. She’s still to little for the stapler but she loved handing me the strips of paper and holding them while I stapled. I have caught her several times today going over to look at her Heart Garland.Just an image again. If you know who it belongs to I would to give credit to them.
Another great toilet paper roll project… I love how useful those things have become. This little guy would be cute as a card or just some fun Valentine Decor that your little one can play with.
And finally… Noah and I made this card for everyone last year. It was a huge hit and a great way for a one year old (or any age) to get involved and personalize a card.
To see all the great craft ideas, recipes, cards, and Valentine decor check out my Valentine’s Day board on Pinterest. I’m adding to it daily and look forward to tackling these project one by one.
Please be kind… give credit where credit is due. To re-pin any “source” pictures follow the link to the original webpage. This gives credit to the author of the picture and project. Thanks!
