Essential Oils and Adoption

Since 2014 my family has been using Young Living Essential Oils.  I never would have imagined that we would turn to something as simple as essential oils for so many things in our life.  But here we are on the other side of adoption and completely in love with the safe and natural way we can care for our family.

I shared back in this post how and why we started using Young Living Essential Oils.  As an adoptive mom… and mom in general I truly believe every mom should invest in the Premium Starter Kit.  Just consider it an add on to the sleep machine, beloved blankie/paci, and hugs you already give your little one. Why?  Because these oils are incredibly versatile and can easily become an integral part of your day to day life.  As an adoptive mom I wish I could give every other adoptive mom a bottle of Tranquil, Lavender, or Peace & Calming to help ease the stress their child has/is/ and/or will continue to go through.

Michael Luke and I were talking the other night about Esther and her stress.  We know it’s only natural for adoptive children to have stress issues…  I mean who wouldn’t when their whole world was turned completely upside down with out much say so in the matter.  It sure is nice to be able to manage it with something as simple as essential oils.  Because more than likely we would have never sought any other forms of help for it.  And if Esther is stressed Mommy and Daddy are stressed… and that’s not a good thing.

We like to keep our little girl well oiled and she’s knows to ask for it if she feels like she needs it.  Tranquil, her oil of choice, truly does help calm her down and for that I am forever grateful. For me it has truly been a blessing from God.
